We are proud of our strong history and heritage, which goes back more than 100 years. Nobian began producing salt in the Netherlands with the establishment of the Royal Dutch Salt Industry (KNZ) in 1918. We value the entrepreneurial spirit of our founders as well as our current strong drive for business excellence, innovation and sustainability. Our Life Saving Rules are designed to ensure that our employees have the knowledge and skills to apply our safety processes consistently across all our sites and to help prevent serious injury to employees, contractors and visitors. Visitors to our sites must have successfully completed a safety test in advance. All employees and visitors require a badge to gain access to our buildings.
