Nobian and Brenntag sign long-term low carbon caustic soda supply agreement

Nobian and Brenntag have entered into a long-term agreement for the supply of ISCC PLUS certified caustic soda. This agreement further strengthens the partnership between both companies and demonstrates their commitment to supply low carbon products to the market.  

Certified low carbon caustic soda  

Brenntag, a global market leader in chemicals distribution, will distribute Nobian’s low carbon caustic soda to its customers in the Netherlands and Belgium. Nobian’s ISCC PLUS certified caustic soda is produced at our production sites in Rotterdam and Delfzijl, the Netherlands, using 100% renewable energy from wind and solar.  

Expanding low carbon product distribution 

This agreement is a unique opportunity for both companies to enable wide-scale distribution of low carbon caustic soda in the chemical value chain. At Nobian and Brenntag, sustainability is a fundamental part of their strategy and both companies are committed to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by supplying low carbon essential chemicals to customers.
