Nobian is at the beginning of the value chain of the ChemiePark Bitterfeld-Wolfen, one of the traditional sites in the chemical triangle between Halle, Leipzig and Dessau. The site was taken over after reunification by a predecessor company of Nobian from the Treuhand. As a result, the facilities were completely rebuilt. 

Today, the plant in Bitterfeld is also part of the HYPOS hydrogen network in central Germany. Our chlor-alkali electrolysis plant was certified for the production of green hydrogen in 2021.

At our site in Bitterfeld, around 100 enthusiastic and committed colleagues work in a variety of areas, including production, laboratory, technical services and safety, health and environmental protection.
