At Nobian/Dansk Salt A/S, we believe in actively engaging with, and giving back to, the communities surrounding our production facilities. One example of this is that we have been a proud sponsor of Mariager Saltcenter since its establishment in 1998. 

We are glad to announce that, as part of our sustainability program, Grow Greener Together, we are able to offer additional support to the Mariager Saltcenter for the expansion and renovation of the Saltcenter. The project will focus on creating extra opportunities for youth initiatives. This entails not only a new bathing area but also improved facilities, including a job training centre for youth with a distance to the labour market, fostering a nurturing space for the younger generation.

It is important for a locally anchored company like Nobian/Dansk Salt A/S to contribute to the development of the local community and especially the youth initiatives, where young people outside the labor market are assisted in acquiring the personal skills needed to get a job or education. It is a collaboration that we warmly invite other local companies to participate in," stated Søren Møller, Director of Dansk Salt A/S.

"This is simply fantastic news, and I don't think there is any precedent in Mariagerfjord Municipality where a company contributes to a cultural institution at this level. Dissemination of knowledge about salt is our purpose, but youth initiatives are our lifeblood, and this perfectly aligns with the thinking behind the donation from Nobian/Dansk Salt A/S. Before long, we will invite interested local companies to collaborate with a focus on our social efforts. This is a big step towards realizing our dreams, and we hope to raise the remaining funding so we can get started," said Leif Skaarup, Director of Mariager Saltcenter.
