Today's Industriepark Höchst has a long history. It all began in 1874 with the production of paints and coatings. Chlorine has been produced here since 1912 and chloromethanes since 1926. Today, these two business areas form the basis of our activities in Frankfurt. They were taken over by one of our predecessors in 2009 in order to expand the chlorine business in Germany. The electrolysis is operated with Nobian's own salt, which is delivered by ship from Delfzijl.

Around 325 enthusiastic and committed colleagues work at our Frankfurt site in a variety of areas, including Procurement, Production, Marketing & Sales and Human Resources, as well as Safety, Health and Environmental Protection.
